It all began with the scent of leather in our family workshop, where every piece carried a
unique character.
Growing up among jacket patterns and other handcrafted creations, I learned to appreciate the value of handmade work, the patience required to create something special. I handled everything, from selecting materials to selling directly to customers, traveling across Tuscany (and beyond) with a deep passion for leather apparel. Ours was a small company, built on dedication and deep knowledge of the craft. But inside me, there was a curiosity that reached beyond fabrics and stitching, a desire that extended beyond the tangible materials.
Then came an opportunity: taking over a sublimation printing company. It was a struggling business, one that many would have overlooked. But I saw it as a bridge to the future, a gateway to a technology that had always fascinated me. Plotters, computers, complex machinery—they represented the promise of a new world, a challenge I wanted to embrace. I didn’t know a thing, not even how to turn on a computer—but I had one essential thing: passion. That, along with curiosity, has always been my guiding force.
I remember those early days as if I had been thrown into an unfamiliar ocean. I sought the help of a young professional to assist me with graphics, while the technicians trained me on the machines, staying with me for an entire week. It felt like going back to school, but this time, the blackboard was a plotter, and the lessons were filled with colors and precision. I quickly learned that printing is a game of gradients and balance, a constant interplay between magenta and cyan, a relentless pursuit of that perfect blue a client envisions. Every color, every shade was a small victory, earned through patience and perseverance.
Since 2012, this has been my world. I specialized in sublimation printing on ribbons, occasionally venturing into apparel and other sectors, always with the goal of improving, evolving, and growing.
My dream for the future is to continue on this path, enhancing technology, investing in cutting-edge machinery, and using more sustainable inks. I want to stay true to my craftsman’s mindset, focusing on quality and attention to detail, because that’s where the real difference lies.
For me, quality means color fidelity, the perfect alignment of the design on every ribbon. These are details that require time and cannot be rushed. While others may focus on mass production, I believe in the value of precision, giving the customer exactly what they envision.
Then, there’s the commitment to materials: we use water-based, non-flammable inks and always strive for sustainable solutions, because respecting the environment is an integral part of our work.
For me, Made in Italy means passion infused into every design, a know-how that adds real value for the client. It’s the attention to detail that you can see in every printed ribbon. It’s the tradition that blends seamlessly with innovation. It’s the spark that drove me to take over a company and transform it, step by step, into something to be proud of.
